GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
3 lb. cooked potatoes
1/2 lb. fried & drained bacon
2 tbsp. bacon grease
1 chopped onion
1/2 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
Salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. boiling water

Mix all ingredients together. Thicken to desired consistency with cornstarch. Serve warm.
