CALDILLO SOUP 
3 c. (1 1/2-2 lbs.) stew meat
2 tbsp. cooking oil
2 c. cubed potatoes
1 c. chopped onions
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (4 oz.) can taco sauce
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. dried parsley
1 bay leaf
3 c. hot water

Brown meat in oil 15-30 minutes. Add potatoes and continue browning about 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer about 2 hours.
