PIE DOUGH 
3 c. flour
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. water

Cut shortening into flour and salt with pastry fork or two knives held together until pea size. Mix egg, water and vinegar together, then add to flour mixture. Roll out on floured board. Use in any pie recipe.
