BANANA SPLITS 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. each Jello strawberry and lime gelatin
2 c. boiling water
2 c. cold water
6 bananas, halved lengthwise
1 pt. ice cream
1 can (8 3/4 oz.) fruit cocktail
1/2 c. marshmallow cream Cool Whip
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Prepare each flavor of Jello separately with 1 cup boiling water and 1 cup cold water. Chill until firm. Arrange bananas in 6 shallow dessert dishes. Scoop ice cream into center.

Scoop strawberry Jello on one side, lime Jello on other. Drain fruit. Spoon over Jello. Spoon marshmallow cream over ice cream. Top with Cool Whip and nuts also maraschino cherries, if desired.
