MOTHER'S LIVER DUMPLINGS 
1 lb. calves liver
1 1/2 tbsp. suet
1/2 tbsp. pork fat
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 c. cracker crumbs
2 eggs
1 tsp. chopped parsley
Dash marjoram
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 chopped onion
2/3 c. flour (approx.)

Wipe liver and put through food chopper with suet. Add salt and pepper. Add cracker crumbs, well beaten eggs, parsley, marjoram, nutmeg, onion which has been browned in fat and enough to hold mixture together. Drop by spoonfuls into boiling salted water or soup stock. Cook 10 minutes with cover off. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
