BRER RABBIT GINGERBREAD | |
2 eggs 6 tbsp. butter 3 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. ginger 1 c. molasses 2 c. sugar 2 c. milk (or hot water) Pinch of salt 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs. Add molasses. Mix together flour, salt, ginger, cinnamon and baking soda. Alternate adding the flour mixture to the egg mixture with milk (or hot water) beating after each addition. Bake at 375°F in a 9"x13" pan for 25 to 35 minutes or until cake tester comes out clean. |
