PARTY MEATBALLS | |
2 lbs. hamburger 1 med. bell pepper 1 med. onion 1 c. cracker crumbs (crushed finely) 1 egg (slightly beaten) 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Salt and pepper (to taste) PACE Picante Sauce Put hamburger in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, finely chopped peppers, onions and cracker crumbs; mix well. Pour in tomato sauce and add seasonings. (2 ounce of picante sauce may be substituted for 2 ounce of tomato sauce, if desired.) Mix well. Roll mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter.) Bake (on shallow pan) in oven at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until desired doneness. Drain well. Put meatballs in large, deep container and cover with PACE Picante Sauce. Marinate overnight. Heat thoroughly before serving. |
