PARTY MEATBALLS
2 lbs. hamburger
1 med. bell pepper
1 med. onion
1 c. cracker crumbs (crushed finely)
1 egg (slightly beaten)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper (to taste)
PACE Picante Sauce

Put hamburger in a large mixing bowl. Add egg, finely chopped peppers, onions and cracker crumbs; mix well. Pour in tomato sauce and add seasonings. (2 ounce of picante sauce may be substituted for 2 ounce of tomato sauce, if desired.) Mix well. Roll mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter.)

Bake (on shallow pan) in oven at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until desired doneness. Drain well. Put meatballs in large, deep container and cover with PACE Picante Sauce. Marinate overnight. Heat thoroughly before serving.
