BAKLAVA 
1 1/2 pkg. phyllo dough
1 lb. butter, melted
1 lb. pecans or walnuts, chopped fine
1 1/2 c. white sugar
4 to 5 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Lay phyllo dough on slightly damp towel. Separate each sheet, place in buttered 10x15 inch pan. Butter each sheet until you are done.

Mix nuts, sugar and vanilla together and spread over buttered phyllo. Then complete rest of dough. When all are done, cut through dough to make diamond shapes. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour until light brown. Take from oven. Bring honey and lemon juice to boil and pour over all. Let set until cool. 36 servings.
