FRENCH APPLE PIE 
To 6 or 7 cups of sliced apples add 3/4 cup white sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour

Mix well and pat down on top. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Cover and bake at 375 degrees until done, about 40 minutes. Frost while still warm with butter cream icing:

1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. milk
Several drops of vanilla
