PIGS IN THE BLANKET 
2 lbs. thin sliced round steak
1 onion
1 carrot
2 slices bacon

Cut meat into 8 pieces. Cut vegetables and bacon into 8 pieces. Put vegetables into meat. Toss on salt and pepper. Roll up meat, fasten with toothpicks. Brown. Remove from pan. Blend drippings with flour and water. Put meat back in pot, cook until tender 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
