ICE BOX PICKLES 
7 c. cut up cucumbers
1 c. carrots, sliced
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. diced red or green peppers
2 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. celery seed
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar

Mix vinegar and sugar and let stand until sugar dissolves. Pour over vegetables and refrigerate.
