2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
4 c. all purpose flour
4 c. finely chopped pecans

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add flour and pecans. Mix well. Chill at least 2 hours. Form into 1 inch balls. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Roll in confectioners' sugar
