DISAPPEARING MARSHMALLOW
BROWNIES
 
1/2 c. butterscotch chips
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a heavy 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butterscotch chips and butter, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; let cool to lukewarm. Add flour, brown sugar, vanilla, baking powder, salt, and egg; mix well. Fold in remaining ingredients just until combined. Spread mixture into a greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overbake. Center will be soft but should reach form consistency upon cooling. When cool, cut into bars.
