EASY ALMOND BARS 
2/3 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/4 c. almonds (or pecans)
6 c. Special K cereal

Measure corn syrup and sugar into large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved and mixture bubbles. Remove from heat - stir in almond extract. Add cereal and nuts. Stir until well coated. Press mixture evenly and firmly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Let stand until cool. Cut into bars.
