“SCALLOPED SWEET POTATOES AND APPLES” IS IN:

SCALLOPED SWEET POTATOES AND
APPLES
 
2 cups boiled sweet potatoes, cut in 1/4-inch slices
1 1/2 cups granny smith apples, sliced thin
1/2 cup brown sugar
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt

Put half of the potatoes in buttered casserole dish. Cover with half the apples. Sprinkle with half the brown sugar; dot with half the butter, sprinkle with half the salt. Repeat. Cover.

Bake for 30 minutes in 350°F oven. Then uncover and bake until apples are soft and top is brown.

Serves 6.
