CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP | |
1 lg. (22 oz.) bag frozen broccoli cuts and about 6 c. water 1 box (2 env.) dry Lipton chicken noodle soup (NOT cup-a-soup) 1 heaping tbsp. flour mixed into each env. of soup 1 can evaporated milk (not sweetened) 1 1/2 c. milk Combine broccoli and water and bring to a boil. Stir in both envelopes of soup (and flour) into broccoli. Cook 10-12 minutes, stirring often. Add evaporated milk and 1 1/2 cups milk. Cook, stirring often until thickens. If cooked the day before and reheated in microwave, it will be much thicker. |
