2 sticks butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped pecan

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla until fluffy. Sift flour, salt into mixture. Blend thoroughly. Add pecans, mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls, place on cookie sheet. Do not brown cool roll in confectioners' sugar. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes.
