SUGAR CREAM PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cornstarch
1 can Milnot, plus enough water to make 2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter
Nutmeg

Combine sugar and cornstarch. Add milk and butter. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Add vanilla, cool. Pour into 9-inch baked pie shell. Sprinkle nutmeg or cinnamon on top. Let set for about 4 hours before serving.
