GERMAN BARS 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels (Kraft)
1/3 c. evaporated milk
German chocolate cake mix (Betty Crocker Super Moist)
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. flaked coconut

Mix cake mix, milk, butter, pecans and chocolate chips. Spread 1/2 of mixture in an ungreased cake pan. Cook 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Melt caramels and milk in microwave. Spread on top, then drop rest of batter onto caramel mixture. Cook 15 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
