SQUASH & GREEN TOMATO CASSEROLE 
4 lg. squash
2 lg. green tomatoes
1/2 c. sharp cheese
10 saltine crackers - crushed
1 sm. onion, chopped
Salt, pepper and butter

Cook squash, tomatoes and onions in 2 cups water. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook until tender. Take out of water. Place in layers of squash mixture, cheese, squash mixture, cheese on top. Add enough water left from cooking to keep from being dry. Sprinkle cracker crumbs on top and dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees until brown.
