COCONUT REFRIGERATOR COOKIES 
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
3 c. rolled oats (quick cooking)
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 1/2 c. coconut

Mix flour, soda, salt. Cream butter with sugars, gradually. Cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, flour, rolled oats, nuts and coconut, mixing thoroughly after each ingredient. Divide dough into thirds. Shape each roll 2 inches in diameter, rolling each in waxed paper. Refrigerate until firm. (Can be frozen and baked later.) Before slicing, let rolls stand at room temperature 1/2 hour. Cut in 1/8 inch slices, using sharp knife. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 375 degrees about 10 minutes. Makes 12 dozen.
