2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
12 sm. Heath candy bars, crushed
1 c. nuts, chopped

Mix sugar, flour, salt together. Cut in butter.r Reserve 1 cup for topping. After reserving the 1 cup, add egg. Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to mixture. Add vanilla. Beat well. Pour into an 8 x 12 greased pan. Top with reserved mixture; then 12 small crushed Heath candy bars, plus 1 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
