APPLE-PINEAPPLE SALAD 
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. cold water
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c. boiling water
1 tbsp. butter
1 sm. can pineapple tidbits or crushed
4 chopped apples
1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. nutmeats

Mix sugar, flour, and cold water. Add well beaten egg. Pour into boiling water, stirring continuously until thickened. Remove from heat. Add butter and pineapple juice. Cool. Pour over apples, pineapple, marshmallows and nuts (optional).
