2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 egg
Milk to make 1 cup
2 tsp. baking powder
1 stick butter, softened

Blend flour, sugar and butter until crumb like; reserve 1 cup. Break egg into 1 cup measure, beat with a fork and then add milk to make 1 cup. Add baking powder. Blend well into crumb mixture. Spray 9x9 inch cake pan with Pam. Pour batter in and top evenly with reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
