APPLE PIE
6 tart apples (baking apples)
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
2 defrosted, ready made pie shells

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Peel the apples, take out the core, cut the apples into small pieces and put them into the mixing bowl.

Add the cinnamon, flour and sugar to the apples and mix.

Fill one of the ready-made pie shells with the apple mixture.

Take the other pie shell out of its tin. Put the shell on top of the apple mixture. Close the pie up by pressing your fork along the edge. Poke a few holes in the top of the pie with your fork so that hot air can get out as it bakes.

Bake the pie in the oven for 1 hour. The crust should be light brown and the apples should be cooked by then.

After the pie has been baked and has cooled off a bit, it is ready to eat.
