OLD FASHION PEACH PRESERVES | |
2 qts. peeled, sliced, hard ripe peaches 6 c. sugar Fresh fruit per instructions Combine fruit, sugar, fruit fresh; let stand 12-18 hours in cool place. Bring slowly to boil, stir frequently. Boil gently until fruit is clear and syrup thick (about 40 minutes). Skim as necessary and pack in hot jars. Process 15 minutes. (3 1/2 pints). |
