OVEN CARAMEL CORN | |
2 c. brown sugar 2 sticks butter 1/2 c. white Karo syrup 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 8 qt. popped corn 1 c. peanuts Cook brown sugar, butter and salt for 5 minutes. Remove from stove; stir in soda and vanilla. Place popped corn and nuts in large roaster or Dutch oven; add cooked mixture. Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour; STIR EVERY 15 MINUTES. Remove from oven and cool. Store in sealed containers in a cool place. |
