PUMPKIN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
2 c. pumpkin
4 eggs (one at a time)
1 c. nuts
1 c. raisins

Mix all the above ingredients. Pour into a well greased angel food cake pan. Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Leave cake in pan for 20 minutes.

TOPPING:

Boil:

1 c. sugar
1 tsp. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. buttermilk

Stir constantly, cook to soft ball. Pour over cake while in pan. Can be stored in refrigerator.
