SPANISH RICE PRONTO 
1/4 c. butter
1 med. onion, thinly sliced (about 1/2 c.)
1/2 med. green pepper, diced (about 1/3 c.)
2 c. minute rice
2 c. hot water
2 c. (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
1 lb. ground beef, browned

I usually brown the ground beef first and after putting meat in casserole, use the same skillet for the rest of the recipe.

Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and green pepper, minute rice. Cook and stir over moderate high heat until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Add to browned beef in casserole dish; mix well.
