KRAUTBURGERS 
2 loaves bread dough
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, cut
Green pepper, chopped
1 can beef bouillon or beef broth
1 sm. med. head cabbage
1 sm. can mushrooms
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Onion to taste
Garlic to taste

White or wheat, homemade is best! Divide into 12 pieces.

Slice and steam the cabbage and onion with butter and 1/4 cup water, about 20 minutes until soft.

In a separate skillet, brown hamburger with green pepper, salt, pepper, onion, garlic and medium can of mushrooms. Drain grease.

Combine cabbage and hamburger mixture. Roll out dough pieces one at a time. Place about 1/2 cup cabbage filling on dough. Fold by bringing corners to the middle. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown. Makes 12.

Use leftover filling in beef stock. Thicken stock to make gravy. Add 1 small can mushrooms and leftovers. Serve over burgers.
