CHEDDAR CRISPIES 
9 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. flour
Cayenne pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. Rice Krispies

Cream the butter. Add the cheese and work until blended. Add flour, salt and cayenne; knead until it holds together. Knead in Rice Krispies. Roll teaspoon quantities of dough into balls; place on ungreased cookie sheet and press down with a fork into a round 1/4 inch thick (like you would for a peanut butter cookie). Bake in preheated oven (400 degrees for 10-12 minutes). Store in airtight container. Makes 4 dozen crackers.
