CHOCOLATE DATE NUT CAKE 
CAKE:

1 box Duncan Hines Fudge Butter cake mix
4 eggs
3/4 c. Wesson oil
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. sugar
8 oz. sour cream

FILLING:

2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs (beaten)

Mix cake ingredients and bake in 3 layers. Heat milk and dates to boiling. Mix flour and sugar. Add eggs. Combine hot mixture with flour, eggs and sugar. Cook over low heat until thick. Add vanilla and nuts. Cool. Spread mixture between layers of cake. Frost with a chocolate frosting.
