JESSICA'S BEST GRILLED CHEESE
EVER!

green apple (cored and cut into slices)
bacon
rosemary sprigs
shredded sharp cheddar cheese
whole wheat or multi-grain bread
butter
fresh cracked black pepper

Lay sprigs of rosemary on a baking sheet and place bacon slices over them. Season with pepper. Place the baking sheet in a cold oven and turn the oven to 400°F for about 15 minutes (may be more or less time depending on the heat of your oven many times the degrees your oven claims to read is wrong).

Butter both sides of the bread. Place generous amount of shredded sharp cheddar cheese on one slice of bread. Remove bacon from the baking sheet and discard the rosemary then place bacon on the cheese.

Spread a bit more cheese on the bacon so it will stick to the sliced apples to be placed on the bacon next followed by the last piece of bread.

Place the sandwich cheese side down on a preheated cast-iron grill pan (a regular pan will work fine). Flip when cheese is melted and heat for about 2 minutes on the other side.

Happy Eating!
