CHEESE - MUSHROOM BREAD FONDUE 
12 slices white bread
3 tbsp. melted butter
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 lb. mushrooms
4 eggs
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt, pepper, paprika

Early in the day or day before, grease a 13 x 9 baking dish. Trim crust from bread and brush slices with butter. Cut each slices in half. Arrange half of bread in one layer in baking dish. Top with half of cheese and all of mushrooms. Repeat with remaining bread and cheese.

In large bowl, mix well eggs and remaining ingredients. Pour over bread and refrigerate, covered, for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 40 to 50 minutes until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 8.
