GRAMMY DOLL'S CHICK PEAS 
3 cans Progresso chicken peas
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. bacon
1 c. ketchup
2 tbsp. mustard

Fry bacon and put aside, but save grease. Drain chicken peas, but save juice. Place chick peas in baking dish. Add sugar, ketchup, mustard and bacon grease; mix well. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 hours. Check frequently and add chick pea juice as needed to keep chick peas from becoming too dry. Before serving, crumble bacon and sprinkle on top of chick peas.
