SHERRIED BEEF STROGANOFF 
2 lbs. beef, cut into 1 inch pieces
1/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. cooking oil
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. cooking sherry
1 pkg. stroganoff sauce mix
1 tbsp. minced onion or 1 pkg. instant onion soup mix
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. water

Toss beef cubes in flour to coat. In large skillet, brown meat in hot cooking oil. Drain off excess fat. Combine soup, sherry, stroganoff mix, and onion or onion soup. Stir into meat along with mushrooms. Turn mixture into 2 quart casserole. Bake covered at 350 degrees until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours. Stir in sour cream. Serve over rice, if desired.
