SHERRIED BEEF 
2 lb. beef stew or any beef, cut bite size
2 cans mushroom soup
3/4 c. sherry (not cooking sherry)
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 medium onions, sliced or diced

Seasonings:

garlic
savory
oregano
salt
pepper

Mix all ingredients in casserole. Put in 325°F oven, uncovered, for about 3 hours. Serve over rice or noodles.
