1 1/2 c. sugar
1 lb. butter
5 c. flour, sifted
1/4 tsp. salt
6 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Mix butter and sugar. Beat egg yolks well with vanilla. Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Add alternately until well mixed. Place in spritz press and turn out the spritz on buttered tin. Place in 375 oven until slightly brown (12 or better minutes). Take spritz off of tin and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot.
