THE BEST ALMOND SPRITZ COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
2/3 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 1/2 c. flour

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix butter, sugar, egg yolks and flavorings thoroughly. Work in flour. Press through cookie press into desired shapes onto ungreased cookie sheet. Decorate. Bake 7 to 10 minutes. About 6 dozen.

I made these today and they turned out well. I just rolled them into balls and dusted with white sugar, and they taste very good: quite sweety and very almond-y. Next time I would press the balls flatter since they didn't spread out at all and kept the roundish shape. This recipe would be a great alternative to normal sugar cookies if you wanted to use cookie cutters!

These came out great! I wanted just almond cookies, but not like the ones from the Oriental restaurants. I only used 2 cups of flour, and they came out wonderful. Crispy on the bottom, and they spread. Great! Thanks for posting!
