POUND CAKE (BY WEIGHT) 
3 eggs
7 oz. sugar
7 oz. flour
7 oz melted butter
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
3 tablespoonfuls rum

Combine eggs, sugar, salt, melted butter and rum in the mixer. Beat for 1 minute.

Add the flour stirred with the baking powder; beat for 30 seconds.

Bake for 40 minutes in a preheated 350-360°F oven.

Yield: 1 cake of 1 3/4 lb.
