HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
2 lb. lean stewing meat, cut in 1-inch cubes 4 med. onions, finely chopped 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. paprika 3/4 c. ketchup 1/4 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. salt 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp. vinegar 5 tbsp. instant tapioca 2 c. water Place raw meat in bottom of crock pot; add onions. Combine dry mustard, paprika, sugar, salt, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, ketchup, tapioca, water in mixing bowl; blend thoroughly; pour over meat in crock pot; cover. Cook at low 10-12 hours or high 5-6 hours. Serve over buttered noodles. Makes 8-10 servings. |
