HUNGARIAN VEGETABLE GOULASH SOUP 
1 lb. ground beef
1 head cabbage
1 bunch carrots
5 potatoes
1 or 2 onions
1 bay leaf
3 tbsp. paprika
4 tbsp. flour
5 bouillon cubes
1 pinch caraway seed
Pepper & salt

Saute' onions and ground beef, drain fat, replace in large pot. Chop cabbage and carrots and potatoes very coarse. Add to meat and onions. Saute' 5 whole minutes or until well mixed. Add bay leaf paprika, caraway seed, pepper, salt and flour; mix well. Add water until all vegetables are covered; add bouillon cubes. Let boil until vegetables are done, serve with bread sticks or biscuits.
