NO FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. shortening (I use Crisco)
1 egg
5 tbsp. water
1 tsp. vinegar

Blend flour, salt, and shortening; beat egg with fork until mixed. Then add to it the water and vinegar. Mix and add to flour mixture all at once. Let stand a minute to absorb all liquid. Refrigerate 1 hour or less - let chill well before rolling.
