NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST 
3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
1 tbsp. vinegar
5 tbsp. water

Cut shortening into flour and salt. Mix in remaining ingredients.
