MOON CAKE | |
1 c. water 1/2 c. butter 4 eggs 1 c. flour 2 sm. pkgs. instant pudding 3 1/2 c. milk 8 oz. cream cheese 1 c. whipping cream or 1 lg. Cool Whip 1/2 c. chocolate Hershey's syrup 1/4 c. nuts (opt.) Bring water and butter to boil. Add flour all at once. Stir until it forms a ball. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Spread the mixture in an 11"x13" cookie sheet (grease bottom). Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. (It will get uneven.) Cool. Beat milk and pudding. Add cream cheese and beat. Spread on cooled crust. Refrigerate 20 minutes. Spread whipped cream and drizzle chocolate syrup over the top. |
