MONKEY CAKE 
4 (8 oz.) cans country style biscuits
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
2/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Raisin and nuts (if desired)

Mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Over medium heat, mix together 1 cup sugar and 1 1/2 sticks butter and bring to a boil. Stir constantly.

Cut 2 cans of biscuits into fourths and roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture and drop into buttered tube pan. Add nuts and raisins if desired. Pour 1/2 the butter and sugar mixture over that. Add last 2 cans of biscuit and repeat in same manner.
