GRANDPA'S FLUFFY PANCAKES | |
1 3/4 cups flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 2 eggs, separated 5 tbsp. sugar 1 cup buttermilk 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup ginger ale 6 tbsp. butter Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Whip egg whites, set aside. Beat yolks with sugar and then stir in milk. Beat in flour mixture; add butter. If the batter is too thick, then add 1 tablespoon of milk. If the batter is too thin, then add a tablespoon of flour until it has a consistency of heavy cream. Submitted by: Bernadette |
