8 oz. semi sweet chocolate, melted
1 lb. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
12 egg yolks
12 egg whites
1 c. flour
10 pkgs. (20 cookies) Amaretti cookies

1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.

2. Place Amaretti cookies in food processor; process; mix with flour.

3. Add egg yolks, flour and cookie mixture to the creamed butter and sugar.

4. Add melted chocolate and beat well.

5. Beat egg whites stiff; fold into chocolate mixture.

6. Butter and flour 2 (9") cake pans.

7. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Makes 2 cakes.
