ROSY APPLE SALAD 
4 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
6 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Milk
Apples

Combine water, sugar and candies. Cook until candy is dissolved. Peel and core apples. Cook in syrup until tender. Chill. Cream the cheese and add milk and chopped nuts. Fill apple cavities with mixture and serve on lettuce.
