MICHAEL'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. butter
1 c. Crisco
2 2/3 c. granulated sugar
2 c. brown sugar
8 eggs
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. vanilla
6 c. flour
4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. oatmeal
4 bags chocolate chips

Mix butter, Crisco, and sugars; add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice. Combine flour, soda and oatmeal. Add slowly to butter mixture. This gets VERY stiff. Use heavy duty mixer or very strong arm. (You may switch to the top of a Tupperware cake-saver to add the flour mixture.) Add chocolate chips. Using a small ice cream scoop, place 6 to 7 cookies on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Cook about 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. This recipe may be halved, cookies may be "regular" sized, and they freeze well.
